Prepare the Patties
Add ground beef to a bowl. Gently mix in salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into patties slightly larger than the buns. Press a small dent in the center to prevent puffing while grilling. Preheat the Grill
Heat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F / 200°C). Clean and lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking. Grill the Burgers
Place patties on the hot grill. Cook for 4–5 minutes per side, flipping once. Avoid pressing the patties to keep them juicy. Add Cheese
During the last minute of cooking, place a cheese slice on each patty. Close the grill lid briefly until melted. Toast the Buns
Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill for 30–60 seconds until golden. Assemble & Serve
Place patties on buns and top with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Serve immediately.
